Born in Ankara,Turkey, Kaan Özkan graduated from METU Electrical and Electronics Engineering and holds 2 other grades in Anadolu and Istanbul Universities. Having held senior management and General Manager positions in companies such as Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Mercedes, Polisan, Saica in Turkey, Switzerland, Dubai, Australia, Egypt and Central Asia, Özkan became the Turkish CEO of the world paper giant MONDİ Industrial Bags in 2010. He was appointed by the 3rd prize in the “Best CEOs of Turkey” competition of Capital magazine. Kaan Özkan, who had an MBA during his term at P&G, served on the Board of GYIAD for 4 years. Managing the most successful period of BIST50 company Çemaş between 2018 and 2021, Özkan is also a member of the Board of Directors of Smart Solar Technologies, which is also a BIST50 company. He is our Partner responsible for Operational Audit, Efficiency Optimization, Corporate Trainings and Business Development.
Zeki Öcal is the Partner and Founder of Kapital Network. He was born in Erbaa, Tokat and graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1984. He graduated his postgraduate education in Budget and Planning, at Istanbul University. During the period from 1985 to 1995, Zeki worked as an in-charge accountant and auditor in a number of companies in the private sector.
In 1995 Zeki Öcal became a Certified Public Accountant and founded Kapital Business Partners in 1997. During the years between 1997 and 2010, Zeki was involved in independent auditing, tax consultancy and outsourcing accounting and payroll services as a partner in Kapital Network- a member of RSM International in Turkey. Today, as the managing partner for the outsourcing services of Kapital Network, Zeki continues providing service to the global and local market.
He is also a founder of TELLFA – the Turkey Estonia Latvia Lithuania Friendship Association. He has been a member of the Central European Business Council in the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK). In order to contribute positively to environmental problems and to raise awareness, he became a Founder and Controller of the Climate Change and Carbon Management Association in 2010. Zeki Öcal is married and has two children. He is fluent in English.
Murat Solakoglu was born in Edirne. After he graduated from high school, he immediately started his career in the area of information technologies (IT). During this time, Murat continued his education and graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration. Owing to several private courses that he attended, Murat became very knowledgeable in Microsoft System Management, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL server, CISCO CCNA. Murat joined Kapital Network in 2009 as an IT manager and he has been responsible for the management of the IT department since then.
Ahmet Kilic was born in Ordu. He graduated from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University in 2013 with a degree in Finance. During his university education, he worked as an intern at the Accounting Department of Ulus Group in London with the Erasmus internship program in the summer of 2011. He has improved his personal and professional skills in this period. He went to Budapest with the Erasmus Student Exchange Program in 2012 and studied finance at Dunaújváros University. Between 2013-2014 he worked in the general banking and operations department of Türkiye Finance Participation Bank. According to his career plan, he completed his military service in 2015. Between January 2016 and August 2018, he started to work in Turkon Container and Transportation Inc. as an Accounting and Finance Specialist. In the same years, he completed the Certified Public Accountant Intern and took his master’s degree education from the Accounting and Finance department of Marmara University. Between 2018-2019 he has worked in Accounting/Outsourcing department in Mazars Denge and improved his professional skills in this field. He started working within our company in 2019. As of 2022, he is working as a manager in the Accounting, Tax, and Reporting department of our company. He has a good level of English language.
Özgür Küçüksipahioğlu was born in 1985 in Istanbul. After graduating from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Public Finance in 2008, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers between 2009-2017. He worked as a tax manager at RSM International Turkey Company between 2017-2021. He is a financial advisor with experience in media, advertising, logistics, energy, tourism, construction and various other manufacturing sectors in tax audit and consultancy, accounting control, financial statement analysis, budget control, transfer pricing, double taxation agreements, and indirect taxes. As of 2022, he has been working as a senior manager in the Accounting, Tax and Reporting department of our company. He speaks English.
Aigerim Amankulova is a legal team leader in Kapital Network. She advises local and international clients in a range of corporate matters and commercial transactions. Her practice focuses on formation and operation of commercial legal entities and non-profit organizations, drafting and coordination of various agreements and organizational documents. Aigerim is also experienced in assisting clients in large scale of data privacy and confidentiality agreements, loan agreements, agreements on sale and purchase of movable and immovable property, lease agreements, international contracts for services. During the university education Aigerim served an internship in the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and worked as a notary assistant. Between 2011-2017, prior to joining Kapital Network, she worked as a lawyer at a diversified holding company in Kazakhstan. Aigerim graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Public International Law Degree) and then obtained her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Public International Law from Queen Mary University of London in 2010. She speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Turkish.
Yusuf Orta was born in 1991 in Istanbul. He studied at the Department of Communication Arts at Istanbul Kultur University between 2012 and 2017, and at the Department of Intercultural Management and Communication at Karlshochschule International University between 2014 and 2015. After graduating in 2017, he worked as a communications assistant at a boutique agency in Berlin, Germany. As of 2018, he has been working as an assistant manager in the Payroll department of our company.
|After graduating from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2014, Batu Gündoğan had an English education in Canada. He continued his graduate education at the Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History department in Bogaziçi University and Sociology department in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
As of 2018, working in the accounting, tax, and reporting department at Kapital Network. He has experience in accounting control, financial statement analysis, tax consultancy, financial reporting, transfer pricing, management consultancy, and quality management in media, advertising, tourism, construction, and transportation sectors.
Zeynep Korkut was born in 1989 in Istanbul. After graduating from Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics in 2011, she worked as an accounting specialist in a firm that provides consultancy in the fields of accounting, tax and SSI between 2011-2015. She worked as a senior accounting specialist at Fujitsu ETB Yazılım between 2015-2018. After working in companies operating in the Health Tourism-Maritime-Retail sector between 2018-2020, she started to work as a senior accounting specialist in our company in 2020. She has been working as Assistant Manager in the Accounting, Tax and Reporting department since 2022.
Doruk Sipahi was born in 1988 in Istanbul. After Üsküdar American College, he graduated from Koç University, Department of Business Administration in 2011. Starting from 2008, he worked as a Transfer Pricing analyst and reporter team member at DBS Consultancy, Mazars-Denge companies, and contributed to the “Best Transfer Pricing Team of Turkey” award in Europe in 2009 by Euromoney. He also worked in the International Business Development departments of companies, such as Biota and Net Impression/Protranslate. Starting from April 2017, he has been working as a Managing Partner, as one of the founders of DBS Consultancy Group (DBS-C Group). Business management, marketing, and business development, transfer pricing are his areas of experience and expertise. He is among the managers of the team that has been carrying out the Transfer Pricing studies of our company since 2017.
